Aaron + Minnie // National Gallery Adventure
Aaron and Minnie first met each other in Singapore while doing an internship. One of their fondest dates was at East Coast Park, where Aaron taught Minnie to cycle. They spent many a date along the scenic Singapore River, before moving to US and UK separately and finally settling in Hong Kong together. They toyed with the idea of exploring places (for their pre-wedding) that were uniquely Singapore; architecturally and culturally speaking.
In our highly dense urban built-up, the streets are usually bustling. The buzz can get a bit distracting especially when we are all about documenting couple’s natural interaction with one another, rather than just getting a posed shot. The mood has to be right to invite openness, so less human traffic would be great – especially for most of us who feel conscious with onlookers around. That’s a reason why we prefer to be behind the camera too!
We were glad to have spent a wonderful morning with these two at National Gallery (before they open their doors to public!), and roamed around the alleyways of Joo Chiat. After the session, Aaron and Minnie brought us to a ‘hidden’ roti prata place that they frequent whenever they are back, and oh boy, the crispiness and oomph…*inserts stomach growls*…
