We engaged Wei Zhen for our wedding day and highly recommend him! It was such a smooth journey from start to end - he took the initiative to video call us to find out more about us as a couple and remembered small details that we shared. During the days leading up to the AD, he was prompt and patient with our questions. On the day itself, he arrived early and never gave us a cause for concern. When he was photographing us / the bridal party, he gave us (much needed) directions and cues so that we could be more comfortable. When the wedding started, he went about capturing candid and heartfelt moments. He delivered the photographs early and we had a great time reliving the day! So many precious memories that he managed to preserve for us 🙂 we’re so thankful and would definitely recommend him!

From the beginning, Wei Zhen was very patient with us which we really appreciated, answering all our questions and addressing our concerns and always assuring us that it will be ok and guiding us through the entire process of planning the actual day schedule as well When we had an online meeting a few weeks before the wedding, Wei Zhen reassured us and guided us on how to structure the tea ceremony and other parts of the actual day which we needed help with. The call itself was very easygoing and comfortable, largely due to his engaging personality. We liked that he took the time to understand us and our relationship, which he also mentioned some of the key moments when he was taking our shots during the wedding day to help us feel more at ease. Happen to come across synchronal photography and was captured by their tagline. After an online video chat with Wei Zhen, we knew we would like to have him as our photographer as he made us really comfortable to be just ourselves which we thought would be important for the PWS and AD. He made PWS less awkward by guiding us through with questions to help capture natural reactions and emotions. And during AD, Wei Zhen stealthily captured many moments for us. Really enjoyed the PWS and AD experience with Wei Zhen, and would recommend Synchronal 😀

One of the best decisions made was to engage Wei Zhen for our solemnisation celebration. My partner and I felt extremely comfortable throughout the shoot, with funny and natural cues from Wei Zhen. He also captured all the beautiful moments of our guests during the celebration. The photos turned great and we couldn't ask for anything better. Wei Zhen was also very patient throughout the process in liaising with us and being very initiative with follow ups from enquiry stage till delivery process. We engaged Weizhen from Synchronal as our AD photographer. Without repeating the lovingly-written reviews here and on their Facebook page, let me just say if you are looking to document the essence of your wedding beautifully AND with a lot of heart, your (stressful) search for an AD photographer ends here (yay). Weizhen exceeded our expectations in every possible way. In the lead-up to the wedding, Weizhen was always professional and prompt in his communications, which made working together a breeze. On the wedding day itself, although we were a bit apprehensive because our AD was the first time meeting Weizhen, as a photographer, he made us feel comfortable and at ease almost instantly. While he encouraged us to just be ourselves, he also gave us gentle directions such that we could still look natural while also good in photos. One of the other things that impressed us the most was his adaptability / versatility to situations. We deeply appreciated his firm yet gentle reassurances to us throughout the wedding; his calm and quietly confident demeanour became a source of comfort. During our solemnisation, the heavens decided to bestow upon us the heaviest rainfall of the month (Nov) but that didn’t deter Weizhen from capturing cherished spontaneous moments and allowing us to see the joy, laughter, and love expressed by our loved ones. Moreover, being camera-shy/conscious, I personally appreciated that Weizhen was able to capture everything in stealth mode that you’d hardly notice he's around! This allowed me to be even more present throughout the wedding (: Going through the photos, my husband and I are continually in awe of the different perspectives gifted to us such that we are able to re-experience our wedding in third-person(s) view and the split-second candid reactions from our guests he managed to capture so skilfully. It’s also clear that our final wedding gallery is thoughtfully curated. Going with Synchronal Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and I am sure it will be yours too (:

I first came across Synchronal Photography's profile over Instagram and was intrigued by how their photos were able to express the warmth and depth of the different moments of each celebration, across the varying modalities of celebrations. We engaged Wei Zhen as our AD photographer and we are so thankful for his efforts in capturing our special day for us. It was a stress-free process in our interactions with him - when we first spoke to him, he genuinely sought to know us as individuals and our story, he provided useful prompts and guidance during our AD and he knew how to create a fun, unpretentious atmosphere. It was a lovely surprise to have received our AD photos in a thumb drive, along with printed postcards of some of the iconic moments from our AD in a leather pouch. It brought so much delight to us to unwrap the leather pouch and to be reminded of the joy we had from our special day. I reached out to Synchronal Photography after seeing their Instagram page. It is hard to describe - but there is a gentle strength and compassion in their photos which resonated with me. We first connected over Zoom. Wei Zhen (who helms Synchronal Photography with his wife) is a very gentle soul. He put us at ease very quickly, and we had a fun chat, walking down memory lane, and sharing our relationship dynamics. Wei Zhen also gave many good tips which we adopted - they made our photos on the AD much better than some others I have seen! On the day itself, Wei Zhen was on time and very accommodating. Everything was a breeze. He also worked well with our videographer. The photos were exactly what I wanted - very genuine and authentic. As the day itself was a whirlwind, it was a real treat for us (when we sat down with our photos) to see our loved ones (and ourselves) being truly immersed in the moment. Wei Zhen definitely has a knack for capturing "the moment" - if you know what I mean. The photos themselves came in a pretty bound leather pouch containing prints and a very sleek pen drive. p/s I was initially skeptical because there were only 1 or 2 reviews on Google, but I found a lot of others on Facebook, I think, which comforted me. Hahaha. (Was told much later after my AD that this Google thing is new for them hahaha so here I am - giving them the support they deserve) Thanks again, WZ & YL! 🙂

My wife and I engaged Weizhen for our pre-wedding and actual day wedding photography. To us, Weizhen is more than a photographer - he draws out and captures the authentic emotion and memorable connections between people. Weizhen and Yuli were very intentional in getting to know my wife and I as a couple before starting on any photography, and were patient in explaining their methodology and approach to capturing photos, as well as being mindful of any preferences my wife and I had regarding the photoshoot locations and timing. On our PWS, Weizhen quite literally took my wife and I out on an intentional date, revisiting our favourite date spot and also favourite memories of each other. Weizhen naturally drew out authentic and raw emotion in the whole process while making it a highly enjoyable experience, using games and conversation and even elements of our surroundings to capture the genuine emotions and expressions. On our wedding day, Weizhen was very reassuring in making us feel more at ease on the big day. We loved that he was able to capture the significant moments - the first look, Holy Communion, Bridal March In, Solemnisation, and the little memories in between - with great care and attention to detail, while also giving the moments a raw and emotive feel that is hard to describe but clearly expressed in his photos. Everything about the photography process from beginning to end was so smooth, seamless, and natural, it made the wedding day that much more memorable and enjoyable. Me and my wife engaged Synchronal Photography for our wedding day to help capture our moments in the morning gatecrash and also the banquet dinner. Wei Zhen & Yu Li were simply amazing for us throughout. They captured absolutely beautiful yet candid photos for us. I love especially how their photos are able to evoke so much memories for us that allows us to re-experience our wedding in a 3rd person view. They captured not just the people but also the precious raw emotions. Wonderful work and great communication building towards the day. We were a Covid wedding that was postponed till 3 years later, and WZ and YL have been extremely accommodative and understanding throughout. I recommend Synchronal highly to couples who value capturing organic moments and the spirit of how the wedding really was (as opposed to stylistic posed shots and choreographed group photos… although I’m sure WZ and YL could do that too!)…. Weizhen from Synchronal Photography did an incredible work as our wedding photographer. From the moment we met him, Weizhen went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Throughout the day, his humor and light-hearted nature helped us relax in front of the camera, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy our special day. He gave us funny cues and gentle directions, ensuring that we felt natural and at ease. This approach made the entire photography experience fun and enjoyable. We went with Synchronal as we wanted a photographer that could capture candid shots at our solemnisation and wedding party, and Wei Zhen from Synchronal did not disappoint. He was able to capture smiles and interactions among our guests in a beautiful manner, and the pictures serve as a good memory for us. Not to mention he was able to direct couple shots in an artistic manner. I'll recommend him anytime!

We were extremely pleased with the results from Synchronal! It was very important to us to have fly on the wall photography capturing candid shots and moments without too much choreographing and Synchronal really did a great job. Almost none of our photos were posed but all of them came out beautifully and all our lovely guests look amazing in the photos! What’s more, the colour profile really pops which captured all the outfits of the day beautifully- you wouldn’t even be able to tell that it was a bit of a cloudy day.

Lastly, Wei Zhen and Yu Li were really nice and spoke to us a few times to truly understand what we wanted. We could not have asked for a better photographer for our big day ❤️

Finally had the time to sit down and sieve through our wedding photos and we had a hard time choosing which one were gonna be in the album ( because they were all so well taken! )

Wei zhen was such a ninja on our actual day that you hardly notice he's around. He captured the essence of how everyone was feeling in the moment, the laughter and the tears and were ever so accommodating of the aunties who were harassing him for more group photos haha.

During our pre-wedding shoot, he made us feel comfortable and asked us a bunch of questions that gave my husband and i the giggles and we felt more at ease around the camera.

Synchronal Photography’s portfolio caught my attention amongst many others that I have researched on as they were able to capture genuine emotions in the photographs. This is indeed true when we received our photo album! 👍

I vividly remember how warm Wei Zhen & Yu Li were when we first met and we bonded over the coffee they brewed. It was a lovely weekend and we even saw a wild boar from their place! From a simple meet up, we could already tell how meticulous they are and it gives me the assurance that the photographs will turn out well. Through the conversation we were further convince that they will do a fine job!

Then Covid-19 happened. We were blessed that all our vendors allowed us to reschedule without fussing over it as our wedding has to be postponed.

Closer to our wedding day, everything went smoothly and honestly I didn’t even provide them with much details to work with! On my wedding day, they arrived at the venue and started capturing all the precious moments. When the event ended, I was worried about how the photos will turn out to be as there were several hiccups - the lightings in the ballroom didn’t work. But when I saw the photographs, I was truly amazed by their impeccable photography skill I couldn’t even tell there was an issue with the lighting in the ballroom!

Thank you Synchronal Photography for capturing all the special moments on my wedding day! Although I wasn’t in the ballroom most of the time to witness the sequence of events but through the photographs I felt that I was there. We love how the album was thoughtfully arranged for the story to unfold and that it stirs happy emotions in our hearts. I will not want to repeat such a tiring event but it was lovely to relive such a precious milestone through the photographs.

My wife and I booked Synchronal Photography in 2019 before all the craziness in 2020. Yu Li and Wei Zhen were attentive to our needs even though our wedding was delayed to Jan 2021. Amidst all the changes to our plans, we never felt like we were prioritized below their earlier shoots.

My wife and I considered going to other celebrity wedding photographers but ultimately decided on Synchronal because of the work that they can produce consistently and also because their prices are reasonable (some can cost you upwards of 5-10k for the entire duration of your wedding day)

On our wedding day and even the week prior to that, we didn't even had time to communicate our expectations to them our expectations and what we wanted because we were so stressed. But Yu Li and Wei Zhen were so professional throughout the day and reassured us not to worry and just enjoy our day. It's because of this reassurance that set our hearts at peace and they just did what they did best. To be honest, if you're looking for an independent team of photographers who knows what they're doing on your wedding day, look no further.

The actual day experience with Synchronal was all natural and non awkward, they were able to capture the moments without us noticing. Looking back, the photos are packed with emotions and energy of the day and simply love them!

To say that Synchronal's photographs are beautiful is not a superlative but an understatement; from the warm tinted colours that always managed to catch the light illuminating the spaces we were in, to quiet scenes that tell the story of the day, to how the full expressions of joy, laughter, movement and delight on every person's face was framed - all the photos are wonderful to behold.

Wei Zhen and Yu Li were also calm and jovial at all times despite the long hours, keeping us alive and awake so that we would look radiant and hopeful in our photographs. The delivery is also a testament to their philosophy. A simple tote bag and within: a wooden box with a faint earthy smell, photographs on clean, matte paper wrapped in twine, a glass thumbdrive containing its prismatic captures of what the day meant to us. Everything is perfect, and we are so very glad with what Synchronal has given us 😊

We came to know of Synchronal through a friend, whose wedding (and pre-wedding) photos they captured. We loved how her photos were raw, unscripted moments, and wanted that for our wedding as well.

Wei Zhen and Yu Li really delivered on this - our wedding photos were a documentation of genuine and emotional moments with, and of, our loved ones, that we had barely registered or remembered with how tiring the day was.

We were also pleasantly surprised because we initially worried that not having many activities meant fewer photo opportunities for them as well (e.g. no gatecrash). Turns out you don't need a jam packed schedule with activities - you just need really good and experienced photographers with an eye for such details.

It wasn't just the end product that was great. We liked their unobtrusive style throughout the day, and their commitment to making sure they captured every important moment there was.

Even when things didn't go according to plan (as it won't on most wedding days), Wei Zhen and Yu Li were ready to roll before anyone else was. And that is a great quality you want in your photographers since you'd have a ton of other things to worry about on that day.

If we weren't already convinced of the importance of a quality wedding photographer before the wedding, we are now.

This super amazing ninja husband-wife duo was such a blessing to our wedding. Yu Li and Wei Zhen were professional from the planning to delivery of the pictures. We loved the photos taken, including the precious ones that we were not there to witness in the midst of the rush and busyness on our big day. A month plus after the wedding, we were also very pleasantly surprised that they would deliver the photos, a beautiful keepsake box, and a cute tote bag right to our doorstep. Adding such a personal touch to this already amazing photography service.

2 months ago, we went on a road trip around Faroe Islands with Weizhen and Yuli, and it was, hands down, one of the best decisions we’ve made so far for ourselves. In choosing to document some of the best days of our lives in a beautiful destination that we can look back on fondly as we embark on the rest of our lives, Weizhen and Yuli didn’t just bring their A game to the trip, they brought with them positivity, companionship, a real sense of “let’s try everything” and faithfully documented every precious memory created.

Our prewedding photos came out amazing, and we wouldn’t have done it without Weizhen’s pretty awesome driving (manual and on the other side on unfamiliar roads!), Weizhen’s and Yuli’s ability to spot a beautiful location, frame it and make it work for us, improv along the way even when weather strikes, the warm signature golden colour grade, and easy conversation throughout the 5 days we spent together with no judgement and no guard up. A genuinely warm couple to have on your side as you get started on your “happily ever after” who will make you look your best. 💯 Can’t go wrong with that choice. 😁

We liked Yu Li and Wei Zhen from the first time we met them in person, way before our wedding in July 2019. We decided to engage them after seeing how sincere, down to earth and easygoing they were.

They were unobtrusive for the most part as they had told us that they would operate like ninjas, so they would be able to capture the candid moments. We did a quick photoshoot together with our bridal party at Joo Chiat in the late morning, and they provided plenty of suggestions for us to pose naturally, all the while cracking jokes to make us laugh. They were also very patient during group shots throughout the day, taking great care to make sure none of our guests were blocked or hidden.

We received our actual day photographs today (less than 2 months after our wedding) and wow. They are stunning, to say the least. Beautifully framed, shot and edited. Everyone looks so happy and natural in the pictures - even the camera shy folks! They also captured such cute pictures of our cats which I have never been able to take on my own.

We are so grateful to them for capturing our wedding, and so glad that we will always have these lovely pictures as mementos of that very special day. Thank you so much Yu Li and Wei Zhen! <3 (PS: Can I hire you guys for a cat photoshoot plz 😹)

We came across Synchronal while searching for a wedding photographer and could not be happier that we found them. Being their models for the day felt very carefree because they were always looking out for us, without being intrusive, encouraging us to just enjoy our Big Day. It's been exactly a year since #NiAm2Gather, and it was an absolute pleasure having Wei Zhen and Yu Li with us on that special day that we still look back very fondly on. I remember Wei Zhen standing precariously on a chair atop a table, just to get high enough to shoot a group photo during our holy matrimony. I recall Yu Li's meticulousness and her sharing their exotic travel stories to keep us relaxed during shoots. Wayyyyyyy overdue review. It’s been a year since we had our wedding. But it’s exactly so that I can say they don’t just create beautiful wedding or pre-wedding photos, they create amazing wedding memories. Those kinds where you’d look at the photos one year later and beyond how good they look, you’d relive the feelings you felt that day and laugh at the questions and the silly answers to them during the pre-wedding shoot. Thank you Weizhen and Yuli for documenting the most special day of our lives through your journalistic eyes that resulted in unscripted and heartfelt photos of the day! Before our wedding day, Weizhen told us not to be bothered about them being around on our wedding day; the less invisible we felt they were on our day, the better! We received our photos from them today and saw not only emotions of our loved ones and guests being captured, but also details that we would not have noticed with us being so busy on the actual day! They also agreed to squeeze in a short time of photoshoot for us as a married couple in between our solemnisation and dinner that resulted in photos that we would print to put on our future home's wall. 🙂 Not being good at "posing", those photos were a result of the questions they asked to allow the couple to reflect and also converse intimately.

When we first met Yu Li and Wei Zhen, we felt that we could trust them with our pre-wedding shoot as they are really easy-going and sincere. Being camera-shy people, we were worried about the shoot; but all these concerns were gone the moment we reached the shooting location. Thanks to mini games and questions they planned, we were able to be ourselves and relieve moments of our relationship all over again - we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! From the get-go, Yu Li and Wei Zhen were warm and genuine and their passion for storytelling shows through their work. We particularly loved their heartfelt style of photography and could not imagine any other team photographing our wedding day.

We engaged Synchronal for our pre-wedding shoot, and we truly enjoyed ourselves throughout the process! We didn't want something too pose-y and loved their natural and candid style of photos. We first met up with them at their lovely home, and got to know each other a little better. During the shoot, they asked us to play little games and thoughtful questions about our relationship. They worked quietly and quickly, so my fiance and I felt like we were in our own world and could be fully present in our emotions and to each other. It really didn't feel like a shoot, like we were just on a date.

We loved both our pre-wed and wedding day pics. The photos were so natural and every picture brought back memories of the actual day. I really liked how most photos were focused on us and our family. They moved around so swiftly, we barely noticed they were there capturing photos(this is helpful especially if your camera shy/conscious).

Yu Li and Wei Zhen have an amazing eye for photography my husband and I really love how our wedding photos turned out. Yu Li and Wei Zhen were friendly and approachable. Initially I was a little hesitant about having two cameras trained on us during a photoshoot! But both of them made the photography session really enjoyable, funny and emotional at the same time. It felt as though my fiancee and I reconnected as a couple during this session, thanks to the activities and questions Yu Li and Wei zhen planned for us.

Wei Zhen and Yu Li are really easy to work with and talk to! Beyond just photo-taking, every session with them felt more like an adventure and exploration session - it was just them capturing us exploring new places, interacting with each other, and the final photos were truly genuine and natural! We had a great time on our adventure sessions, and we love how they were able to make us (a normally shy/quiet couple) loosen up and have fun 🙂 also love how they managed to capture the smallest of moments!

My husband Alvin and I had Synchronal Photography as our actual day photographers for our wedding in Jan 2017 at Tamarind Hill. We engaged Synchronal Photography for our pre-wedding photoshoot to Perth after seeing some of their previous works that were shot in Perth. What we loved about shoot/trip was that we got to shoot over 4d3n, covering a quite a bit of ground on the road to various places during our road trip, as well as enjoy each others company just like it was a holiday. Yuli did a great job on the make up for me during the trip. She took time before hand to get an understanding of the looks/ hairdos that i would prefer. It was also comforting to know that my make up would be taken care of during the pre-wedding shoot. Weizhen always had a bag full of activities to make every shoot different. And somehow these activities always managed to evoke varied emotions which were captured in photo.
